Carlisle Men's Work, LLC

Located in downtown Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, Carlisle Men's Work is a closed group of up to 10 men who meet at any or all of 3 nightly offerings. At group most topics are group led and the brotherhood they find there offers support, encouragement and accountability for various challenges many of us face in our lives.

The owner and facilitating licensed therapist behind it all, is Jason Rusman, MS, LPC. He began Carlisle Men's Work, LLC in addition to his full-time job as a therapist at Wilson College, out of passion. He dedicates a lot of his time and efforts to these groups because he strongly feels the men who attend could greatly benefit from his professional skills - especially being a gender predominantly raised to "tough it out," or have a "lone wolf" mindset.

There were a few issues with overlapping elements and the website wasn't fully responsive on any device - although pretty close on mobile! While the home page was the most developed, with multiple sections, they were simple and lacked any Call-to-actions or engagement and were not interactive. The navigation wasn't optimal for user experience. This site also needed legal pages and a copyright as well as social media integration and a contact form. The color palette was on brand but lacked visual aesthetic.

After their branding "face-lift," Carlisle Men's Work's website got an overhaul! It became a properly built out website that contained a total of four pages, each with multiple sections. There were several call-to-actions added, easy navigation both in the header and footer and it is now responsive on desktop, tablet and mobile! There are fun interactive elements, and the branding is clearly visually represented in an aesthetically pleasing way! The website now has integrated social media links as well as a proper contact form. It became complete with legal pages, my copyright and is SEO optimized! This website was previously done on Wix Editor and for $2 more per month, Carlisle Men's Work upgraded to a Wix Studio plan that allowed for full customization, room to grow and add more features in the future and easily collaborate with their web designer at any point they need future updates or additions.
